Leana Akel is a journal for people who build and run things online. Clear guides on data, code, networks and digital business, written by practitioners rather than sales pages.
Who we are
We are a small editorial team of analysts, developers, network engineers and marketers. Leana Akel started in 2021 as an internal notes folder where we recorded what actually worked for clients and small teams. Those notes became public guides, and the site now reaches readers in more than forty countries every month.
Our mission
We make technology decisions cheaper and clearer. Every week we publish free tutorials and buying guides across five sections: Data Analytics, Programming, Computer Networks, Email Marketing and Online Business. You get current 2026 prices, tool comparisons and step-by-step setups you can finish in an afternoon.
Editorial standards
No sponsored rankings, no paid placements. We test with our own accounts and hardware, disclose every relationship, and correct mistakes in public within 48 hours. Figures come from vendor pricing pages, official documentation and our own measurements, never from a press release. When a popular tool is the wrong choice, we say so. Our editorial ethics follow the guidance published by the Society of Professional Journalists.
The team
Leana Akel (editor), Maya Chen (data analytics), Daniel Osei (programming), Sofia Marchetti (networks), Jonas Weber (email marketing) and Priya Raman (online business). Contributing specialists review every technical guide before it ships.
